A lot of energy was spent on searching form and way of preservation the cinema itself due to the digitalization – D-cinema option – costs about 2,5 mil. CZK and unethical obligations – interior change, dictated tickets prices min. 120 – 190 CZK – all above mentioned made us search the alternative – E-cinema – DVD and Blue-ray presentations – public projections – thanks to the municipal authority this alternative could be completed – Kino Bystřice belongs to pioneers in this fight for cinema preservation – see articles in newspapers and TVB – to avoid liquidation of other small cinemas we addressed the Association of cinema operators – to help us make pressure on film distributors – publishing best-sellers for public projection in acceptable delay – max. 1 or 2 months – it is the very beginning of the fight for cinema preservation and we believe it will be successful – at this moment the municipal authority did the best and now it is the audience´s turn, hopefully they will appreciate it and will frequently visit and support the cinema.
